Verbal SMS Opt-In Script INVOICE AUTOMATION

This document is the verbal opt-in script that BJO Ventures LLC staff use during onboarding calls with prospective Invoice Automation Platform clients. It is read aloud or paraphrased verbatim during the onboarding conversation, prior to adding the client's mobile phone number to the platform's authorized-sender list. The client's verbal consent is recorded in the engagement agreement signed at the conclusion of the onboarding session.
1. Context (read at the start of the SMS-consent portion of the onboarding call)
"Before I add your phone number to the platform, I want to walk you through what you'll receive by text and confirm you're okay with it.
This is BJO Ventures LLC. We operate the invoice automation platform you're enrolling in. Once your number is added, you'll receive transactional text messages directly tied to your own invoicing activity — specifically:
· Invoice draft intake confirmations when you start a new invoice
· Send confirmations once an invoice has been emailed to your customer
· Payment received notifications when one of your invoices is paid
· Reminder and overdue alerts when an invoice goes unpaid past the threshold you set
· Operational updates about your account, like system pause/resume confirmations
Message frequency varies but typically caps at fifteen messages per active billing cycle. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can reply STOP to any message to be removed from the platform's authorized-sender list — that immediately stops all messages from us. Reply HELP to get our contact information."
2. Explicit consent question
"Are you okay with receiving these texts at the number you gave me, with the understanding that you can reply STOP at any time to opt out?"
Wait for an explicit "yes." If the client hesitates or asks questions, answer them and re-ask. Do not proceed to enrollment without an unambiguous affirmative.
3. Confirmation steps recorded by BJO staff
Verbal consent received from the client (yes / no)
Mobile phone number confirmed back to the client
Engagement agreement sent for signature with the SMS consent clause embedded
Engagement agreement returned signed by the client
Phone number added to the platform's authorized-sender list in the GoHighLevel sub-account
First-message opt-in confirmation sent to the client (the message stating "You're enrolled in BJO Ventures LLC invoice automation SMS...")

5. Internal notes
This script is the operator-side artifact that fulfills the verbal opt-in requirement under the A2P 10DLC campaign registered for the Invoice Automation Program. Recipients of an invoice issued by an enrolled client are not enrolled in any BJO SMS program by the client's enrollment; this consent flow applies only to the enrolled business owner whose number is added to the authorized-sender list.
